On a Whim is in a great central location on Ocean Point Rd in East Boothbay Maine. The cottage is a very short walk to the East Boothbay General Store and only a few miles to the Carriage House and Lobsterman's Wharf restaurants.
Also nearby are some of our area's best attractions. It's only 3 miles to Ocean Point and 4 to downtown Boothbay Harbor, where you can check-out the numerous restaurants, shops and galleries. Within an hour are Camden, Rockland, Pemaquid, Damariscotta, Bath and Brunswick. Also nearby are the Boothbay Country Club, Maine Botanical Gardens, and numerous boat excursions including whale watches, schooners tours and trips to Monhegan Island and Burnt Island Light House.
