Welcome to SeaGlass Cottage in East Boothbay! This private retreat is nestled right on the edge of a quintessential rocky Maine shoreline, and provides you with gorgeous panoramic views throughout. At SeaGlass you will be surrounded by natural beauty and immersed in the sights and sounds of the sea. Look closely and you will likely see the Osprey at their nest on Perch Island, some loons and a seal or two. You won't want to miss the sunsets, they are spectacular! There is an incredible 200' long deep water dock, "Daddy Long Legs," as it is known locally, is a great spot for kayaking, fishing and swimming. (the striped bass like it too). At low tide there is a large 250' private rocky beach area (this area is underwater at high tide...so please don't think white sandy beach), that is great for beach combing. If you are looking for a private, waterfront retreat where you can get away from it all, but where you're only a few minutes from all the action and activities of Boothbay Harbor, then Seaglass is the place for you!

The Location
This location provides an incredibly peaceful retreat to get away from it all and relax, surrounded by some of the most beautiful views anywhere. But, if you are looking for more action, it is only 4 miles to Boothbay Harbor, which is home to many fine dining and casual restaurants, shops and galleries. It is only 3 miles to the popular Ocean Point where you can relax on the rocks and take in the breathtaking views. One of the areas most scenic hiking trails, The Linekin Preserve, is only 2/10ths of a mile away. Also nearby is the Boothbay Country Club, Maine Botanical Gardens, and numerous boat excursions including whale watches, schooners tours and trips to Monhegan Island and Burnt Island Light House. A great home base for daytrips, SeaGlass is within an hour's drive of the mid-coast's best attractions.

Access: Our one-of-a-kind cottage is situated on a rocky ledge, offering a stunning view of the bay. To reach the cottage, guests park their vehicles at the owner's property and follow a gradual, grassy slope that spans approximately 85 yards. Please note that due the access may pose a challenge for individuals with limited mobility. However, we provide carts to assist with luggage and supplies. Please be advised that parking is limited to 2 cars, and we are unable to accommodate RVs, large trucks, or trailers.

The bedroom is a loft that is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. The bathroom is on the main/ first floor.

Dock: You may use the dock adjacent to the cottage for your kayaks, canoes or paddleboards. Motor boats are not allowed.

Please be advised that the owner of the property will only access the dock to reach her own boat, ensuring your privacy during your stay.
